WELCOME TO STIRLING UNIVERSITY BOAT CLUB

Stirling University Boat Club
Rowing is a great sport for all round fitness. Most of our rowing is coxed fours but there are opportunities for pairs and sculling. We are a fun club and have many nights out with drunken antics and memory loss! We are also the only sports union club with our own bar. All abilities are welcome from elite to novice so even if you have never seen a boat before come and give rowing a try.

The Stirling University Boat Club has had a rapid expansion last semester, now with over 40 active memberships. Wednesday and Sunday are club training. We meet throughout the academic year to row on a stretch of the
River Forth in central Stirling. The club participates in the University Rowing League and a number of National events. Our boat house is in Riverside, 20 minutes walk from the University, where we have superb facilities such as a gym a newly refurbished bar and a number of 4+’s, 2-‘s and sculls.
